Sandals Resorts Founder and Chairman, Mr. Gordon 'Butch' Stewart, speaks to a captivated audience at the first leg of the Luxury Includedâ Legacy Continues Tour in Miami, FL
Sandals Resorts has once again embarked upon a ten-city North American tour to provide travel agents with a firsthand overview of all of the new and exciting projects happening at Sandals Resorts, Beaches Resorts, the Royal Plantation Collection and Grand Pineapple Beach Resorts. The Luxury Included® Legacy Continues Tour, which kicked off in Miami, FL on October 11th, introduced agents to new upgrades, expansions and partnerships slated for each of the resort brands in the Sandals Resorts International portfolio.
The inaugural event commenced with a tradeshow exhibition where agents had the opportunity to view the latest collateral materials available for all resort brands, followed by a sit-down luncheon, where they heard about the company's exciting new initiatives and expansion projects directly from Sandals Resorts' Chairman, Mr. Gordon 'Butch' Stewart, and CEO, Adam Stewart. Additionally, resort General Managers, Mr. Jeremy Jones of Sandals Whitehouse European Village & Spa and Mr. Louis Grant of Sandals Dunn's River Villaggio Golf Resort & Spa, were available to further enlighten agents on the new events and updates coming online at each of their properties. Agents also received a preview of the all-new philanthropic division of Sandals Resorts, the Sandals Foundation, as well as future plans and details on Sandals Resorts' commitment to the community and environmental sustainability.

Throughout the North American tour, agents will also get an in-depth look at Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa's new $125 million Italian Village and enhanced Pirate's Island Waterpark; the expansion of The Royal Plantation Collection in The Bahamas, Jamaica and Turks & Caicos; the new Sandals Resorts PGA Golf School in Jamaica powered by Nike®; and the stunning new Millionaire Suites at Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Resort & Spa in St. Lucia. Agents will come away with a wealth of knowledge on the brands' continued Luxury Included® direction.

The Luxury Includedâ Legacy Continues events are yet another aspect of Sandals Resorts' continuing campaign to educate and train travel agents, and are supplemented with on-property site tours and training sessions for agents that are happening throughout the coming months.

Sandals, Sandals, Sandals, what are they going to think of next? Do you know Sandals resorts renovate their rooms every 3 years! Most all other hotel chains renovate their rooms every 10 years, YES I SAID TEN! WOW! I was very impressed to see Butch Stewart, owner of Sandals and Beaches Luxury Included Resorts walk in to this beautiful facility, greet everyone, smiling all the while in denim! GOTTA LOVE IT! What a humble guy! Then to follow it up, Adam Stewart, CEO of Sandals and Beaches Luxury Included Resorts gave us a most incredible overview of what there is to come!! AND LET ME TELL YOU, if you are getting married in 2010 or later, WOW will you have some new Unique suites to choose from. If you have not checked out Beaches resorts for Destination weddings and for you divers, in Jan 09, Beaches will open the new Village, this resort will offer 16 different dining options to only 600 rooms/suites! INCREDIBLE, UNHEARD OF! Impressive!! Anyway, we had a great opportunity to let the travel agents know what works for us! We also had the opportunity to sit with Adam Stewart and visit with some other Sandals and Beaches hosts. What a great time, what a great event and I CANNOT WAIT to share with you all the new and exciting things happening in our Sandals and Beaches world!
